WOW Protein

Ok, so, I expect most of you reading this have heard of protein powder, and may even use it.

This finely milled powder comes in all sorts of flavours and is mixed, usually, with water to make a high protein drink.

Thing is, it can get messy. One cough or sneeze while measuring it out and there’s a mushroom cloud of it hanging over your kitchen. Plus, with so many of us complaining about how time-poor we are, some people can’t even face the fuss of weighing it out in the first place… and what about how long it takes to wash you’re shaker up afterwards!!

However, protein is great for fuelling your workouts, aiding muscle repair, steadying blood sugar levels and boosting your metabolism so WOW Protein have come up with a way of making it easy and fuss-free.

When you’re training hard, if you can trick yourself into thinking you’re getting something ‘naughty’, while in fact giving your body a boost of the good stuff, then all the better.

In fact, in the UK alone, the sports nutrition market is worth £300 million and it’s estimated that by 2019 it will be worth $37 billion globally.

Still, that doesn’t necessarily mean that everything you buy is going to be made of top-grade ingredients and taste delicious!

So, when I heard about Norwich-based Hench Nutrition I was interested to try them out and see how they rated.

Well, I have just one word….WOW!

Fill-N-Go Funnel

Powdered supplements can be a real pain when you’re on the go.

Firstly, where do you keep yours?

Zip-lock freezer bag… plastic food container… or have you been lugging round a 5kg tub of protein powder to each of your workouts?!

Secondly, there’s the Krypton Factor-style challenge of getting said finely-milled protein powder, BCAAs, pre workout, creatine or amino acids into that water bottle or shaker.

Nine times out of 10 we watch helplessly as it goes everywhere but the container or, if you’re like me at work, you try fashioning a ‘funnel’ out of a nearby sticky note!

And what about that ill-timed sneeze, cough or trip that sees your scoop of powder explode into a mushroom cloud and settle over everything in sight!

Well, now have the answer…the fabulous Fill-N-Go Funnel!
